Chapter 124 (Trees), an NJDEP MS4 stormwater ordinance, requires Conservation Officer review and approval before any tree removal. Cutting a tree in a public highway additionally requires a permit from the Mayor and Council. Standard NJDEP thresholds apply: street trees 2.5 inches DBH, other trees 6 inches DBH, with a replacement table. We prepare the application; the permit itself stays the property owner's responsibility.
